I’ve been selling real estate in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge for more than 17 years, and I still love it as much as I did on day one. I was born and raised in Maple Ridge, so when I tell a client what a street, a school catchment, or a commute is really like, it’s not something I looked up, it’s something I know.
I co-founded The Macnabs Team back in 2012, and since then I’ve built my business almost entirely on referrals. That only happens if you actually take care of people, so that’s what I focus on: telling clients the truth about a home even when it’s not what they want to hear, staying reachable when questions come up (they always do), and not disappearing the moment an offer is accepted.
Before real estate, I spent time in construction and design, and that background still shapes how I look at a house, I can usually tell what’s cosmetic and what’s structural, and I pass that read on to my clients so they’re not guessing. It also means I know how to present a home so it sells: professional photography, drone footage, video walkthroughs, and marketing that actually gets in front of buyers, not just listed and forgotten.
Pitt Meadows is home base, but I also work throughout Maple Ridge, Osprey Village, Bonson Landing, Silver Valley, Albion, and Webster’s Corners. Family homes, luxury properties, waterfront, acreages, townhomes, new construction, and investment properties. If it’s in this corner of the Fraser Valley, I’ve probably sold something like it.
The thing I hear most from past clients isn’t about the sale price — it’s that I didn’t pressure them, that I was straight with them, and that I was there through the parts of the process that get stressful (subject-to-sale chains, tight closing dates, a market that shifts halfway through). That’s the reputation I want to keep earning.
