How to pick a good contractor?

This is a very important question when considering doing a renovation. I always suggest asking around, ask some friends or family members that have done renovations in the past. If they had a good experience they will rave about the contractor they used. There are lots of crooked people out there so it’s always best to do some research on the contractor before agreeing to anything. Ask for some references and ask to see some past work they have done. If the contractor is reputable they will have no problem getting you into one of their past clients houses to show you around. This is one great way to find the right contractor.
