It’s been a busy week in Vancouver for new properties hitting the market. These are my favourite double height lofts for sale in Vancouver as of May long weekend. 4 totally different lofts in 4 completely different areas. We’ve got an original double decker heritage conversion in Kits, a funky heritage conversion 1.5 level loft in Gastown, a renovated modern double in Yaletown, and old school double height modern loft in New West.
#1 – 1811 W.16th, Kitsilano – $649,000 – 1052 sq/ft
CEDAR MEWS is a 1922 building converted back in 1998. This unit has 18 foot ceilings, wood beams, bricks, gas fireplace, No rentals allowed or patio but there is a common roof top patio with killer city views. 1 parking & 1 storage locker.
#2 – #504 55 E.Cordova, Gastown – $599,000 – 1077 Sq/ft
Koret is one of my favourite loft buildings in Gastown. A really well done conversion utilizing the old growth beams, concrete flooring, and 100 year old brick. This unit has one of the unique blue glass showers and bathtub out in the open and one of the RARE units with the sunken room on the Northside of the building. Parking is included with this one.
#3 – #207 1238 Seymour, Yaletown – $565,000 – 1096 sq/ft
The Space loft building is one of the newer loft buildings built in 1999. Full concrete and steel construction, this building is actually a TOWER of lofts. This unit happens to be a double height loft, with a seperate bedroom area and a den. It’s also a corner unit and priced at $516 per sq/ft.
#4 – #303 549 Columbia st, New West – $425,000 – 950 sq/ft
The C2C building is super rare, as it’s built above the cop shop in New West. A super old building which used to house the old Post Office, this loft building is right downtown New West on Columbia street. The skytrain is 2 blocks away and super convenient. This place has been fully reno’d with a really nice modern design. It’s a looker.
