#57 22225 50TH Ave – Just Sold in Langley

What’s good in Langley!? Life is, that’s what. Especially for our new buyers in Murrayville. They snagged an awesome 4 bedroom/4 bathroom townhouse in the Murray’s Landing complex. These are beautiful modern style townhouses that were built in 2010 and include a patio, a deck, a small back yard, and a covered garage. The island sink combined with a bar in the kitchen makes this home the place to be for get togethers in Langley. The island then connects to the den, making it perfect for an evening with friends.

My favourite thing about this house is the large recreation room. With a giant rec room being 13’8 x 13’8, this part of the house would be awesome for a home theatre room, a children’s play room, or a home office. Also downstairs is a full sized bedroom, and a bathroom. Access to the patio/back yard is through this area.

One aspect of Langley that makes it so intriguing for buyers is the fact that it is one of the most affordable cities in Metro Vancouver. Langley and Maple Ridge are the only communities in Metro Vancouver where the average price for a single detached house is under $500,000. For families looking to buy a beautiful townhouse like this on in Murraryville, or a single detached house, Langley is the place to be. Although there is the worry about having to commute downtown or elsewhere in the region, there is a rapid bus system from the Langley Park and Ride to Lougheed Station that connects to the SkyTrain. Furthermore, improvements along highway 1 throughout Surrey and Langley are making it easy for commuters to hit the highway and cross the Port Mann with ease.

Things to see in Murrayville

Although a very residential community, there area plenty of things to do and see in Murraryville and Langley. W.C. Blair Recreation Centre is home to a 6 lane 25 metre pool, sauna, steam room, fitness centre, and a hot tub. A perfect way to keep the whole family in shape. The community of Fort Langley is only a 10 minute drive away. Fort Langley offers shopping, mom and pop shops and restaurants, as well as the national historic fur trading site. One of the biggest players in BC Craft beer is Dead Frog Brewing, and their taphouse is only 15 minutes from Murraryville. Get a growler filled, take a seat on the patio in the most affordable city in the region, and enjoy where the city meets the Valley.
